How is a nipple corrective procedure performed?
Nipple corrective procedure are usually performed on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia or, if desired, under Twilight Sedation . Depending on the initial situation, different techniques are used:
- In the case of inverted nipples, the tissue is gently loosened so that the nipple permanently points outwards.
- In cases of excessively large nipples, excess tissue is precisely removed and the shape is reshaped.
- In cases of asymmetry, we harmoniously adjust the shape of both sides.
Thanks to modern techniques, the scars are barely visible later on.

Is a nipple corrective procedure painful?
The procedure itself is painless thanks to anesthesia. In the first few days afterward, a slight feeling of tightness or pressure may occur, but this can be easily controlled with painkillers. Most patients find the discomfort to be very minor.
Will visible scars remain?
